Comparing Pizza Roll Commercials
Here are 2 commercials for Pizza Rolls.
The 1960's Jeno's Pizza Roll Commerical:
- References to the Lone Ranger
- Feels like a freeky Dream
- Makes you want to carry them in your pockets
The 1990's McCain's Pizza Pocket Commercial:
- Incredibly bad
- Failed attempt to capture the mid-90's super-sarcasm
- Who feels like punching these guys??
Daily Hapiness Index: 6/10 (got the Go-Kart to work, but it's way too LOUD to actually use)

WHAT is a pizza roll????
"Hi ho pizza roll, away?" Apparently advertising was an OK field to take LSD on the job back in the 60's. The lone ranger at a cocktail party? Everyone has pizza roll boxes behind their backs to flash at the camera? Weird...
Imagine a chunck of pizza...
- Folded back on itself: Pizza Pocket
- Roller-up and fried: Pizza Roll
Imagine all the other ways you could transform pizza... Pizza Hut already thought about it!
Wow - imagine...you guys were eating these high tech snacks in the 1960s and we are STILL eating our pizzas flat...
